What people think about Temptation Waits:

  • I loved Garbage's sound and thought Shirley was well hot! Come back!
  • I somewhat disagree! I feel everything came together on Album 2, and any loose ends were tidied up - the 1st was a great album in places I admit - but personally the tighter production and powerful sounds down to delicate ballads on Version 2.0 allowed it to be a high level of quality from start to finish - and one of the very few Albums I can truly say, that I like every single track. To me it depends whether you prefer the rougher, more earthy sounds of the 1st album, or the tighter electronic, compressed drum beats and hard deep basslines of the 2nd one - but also mixed with a few nice ballads. I miss them being on the radio, and in the spotlight though... to partly quote one of their songs... The trick is to keep 'writing' ...I'm sure they are... :))
  • In relation to what Ravemacbeth wrote, I have to admit severe disappointment in Garbage's work even as early as Version 2.0. That first album was truly mindblowingly fantastic. I have everything she's done on CD (purchased from a "record" store... LOL... it'll be interesting to see how many people don't know what a "record store" actually is) and own literally some 900 CDs (and from what some have said to me, a collection of ONLY 900 is, oh, what do they say... "It's too small", "that's ALL you have??", "Man, I couldn't stop when I'd hit 900 back in 1988") and for me it's a fairly comprehensive collection in that there are at least a few CDs by just about every title you'll hear when artists talk about their influences. My original point (I'm a tangent whore, what can I say) was that even owning everything Garbage put out, I really only listen to their initial offering anymore. It's sad they seemed to fail in trying to catch lightning in a bottle a second time.
  • I'm with MissAffliction! I was like 11 or 12 when this cd came out and I still enjoy it as much as I did when I was a fucking kid! Version 2.0 and the self-titled are definitely their best works.
  • This CD came out when I was in 5th or 6th grade and I still have it today at age 22! It's awesome!
  • me encanta me encanta me encanta ;D!
  • "I love it - Me Encanta"
  • Another Garbage great song...pleeeeease come back.
  • jaajjajajaja,,,,,,,,,,que me das para hoy si te digo que si???
  • otro gran tema de garbage, aprendan!!!!!!!!
