What people think about No Quarter:

  • Beautiful, magical, haunting cover....the best cover I've ever heard..Thank you T()()L.
  • Excellent cover? Definitely. The best cover of all time? Never. That place is probably reserved for all time for Jimi Hendrix' version of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower". But as for the best Led Zep cover of all time: possibly.
  • This is a really cool cover but, not better
  • Great cover, not better than the original. Pull your heads out of your asses, kids.
  • Stop trolling, this song is one of the best Tool songs out there
  • Amazing how u can make a cover better than the original
  • The lyrical and musical changes are what makes this song so good. Cover songs that don't change anything are worthless. This is tool at their finest.
  • This is not bad but when I compare it to the sonical textures and the richness of the original, it just falls short on so many levels. To me this is sonically boring. The lyrics changes on the other hand don't bother me. The lyrics aren't the thing that make this song stand out.
  • The lyrical changes may suck for some. They certainly do not for me. In fact I believe they're great because Tool totally made this song their own, musically as well as lyrically. Of course Zeppelin's version will always be the original and I love them for creating such a great song but Tool's version has this unique mixture of heavyness and calm segments (especially the last part) which is why I prefer their version over Zeppelin's.
  • This song fit for tool too much. Great Zeppelin. Great Tool.
