What people think about Light My Fire:

  • this song is so wonderful... it will NEVER die off. Songs this good just can't die. People will forever listen to this song and think "Wow, that's fucking awesome. Much better than what's popular nowadays." One of the best songs ever made...
  • this song is absolutely perfect... is like to be high with no dope
  • i would love to hear the original jam just once. the entire un edited version like on the album. i'm surprised this song is never featured as a soundtrack for a movie although i did hear this jam in movie called alterd states with william hurt and blair brown. it was placed just right. check it out. plus blair brown gets nekkid! nice tits!
  • Love the Doors! Only wish I had been around then....
  • ardly had any chance to get exposed to the Doors in the middle of the jungle were I was in 1968 but by luck went to surf at Cocos beach in Macuto and there was Carlos Santana and my older cousins took me to the free concert and we heard Morrison thanks to Carlos playing an 8 track while he was preparing to perform...... The Doors were just too cool to be accepted by the local sciety,,,,, as far as tthe keyboard.... Andy townbend it was an organ..... hardly any one had any syntheteizers or moogs to spare.. .The doors used just an organ to clash to the clacsic music folks and yes it is a lil overbearing , but we are talking proto rock ..... what you expect your grampa to play in 1969...rap music?
  • I'm not being funny or owt but that keyboard solo is complete overkill
  • A song that will be listened to forever, from a group that will never be forgotten. The Doors were SO innovative. A lot people today don't realize how influential Jim and The Doors were/are. Jim was probably the greatest frontman in rock. Artists like Scoot Weiland from STP, Chris Cornell from Soundgarden, Axl Rose from GNR, Scott Stapp from Creed, Layne Staley from AIC... all these guys have said the Jim Morrison was their major influence. And this song features some of the best solo work in rock history, both guitar and keyboard. RIP Jim
  • Very influential song. Powerfull & Timeless Classic Rock Song.
  • I just love the keyboards on this
  • plays to listerners ratio,36 to 1 ! just numbers but that was quite a group.decades from now it will still be played and a new following of people will enjoy...light my fire
