What people think about Amputee:

• Just heard this on Effloresce, Need to get hold of the Relapse EP Now. 
• I just got Effloresce today, I've heard a majority of the songs on this album before; except for amputee. I would definately say it's probably my second favorite Oceansize song right behind Music for a Nurse. 
• WOW...unbelievable...I didn't expect oceansize to create such a catchy song...I love all the other stuff, but this one...I don't find words 
• I have been listening to rock music for 3 decades. Not sappy hit parade stuff or the new generation soft apology for rock i.e. coldplay, but what I think of as proper rock. The great Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, Metallica, Queensryche, Iron Maiden etc. I reckon Oceansize are the hope of the future. Their stuff is a fusion of rock, melody and complexity that leaves the "yeah baby, i love you" stuff in another galaxy. I'veonly seen them live once but they just confirmed my opinion. I hope they don't think its uncool to have a 50+ female audience but this is my favourite track and I play it all the time.
