What people think about The Good Life:

• I am not a fan of El Scortcho, they could have picked any other song. I believe.

• Thanks for the info AmpersandCM. I guess I was too busy thinking I was old at the time to notice that this was a single. In any case I thought pinkerton is their best album and was horribly underpromoted by the label. Of course my perception could be flawed. I also like El Scortcho but personally I find several others to be catchier but again just my opinion.

• The Good Life WAS a single, rubick3. It was the second single. Maybe it would've been a better choice for first single, but it still was a single. Also, I think El Scorcho's an awesome, catchy song, but it's too different from the stuff on Blue, so that's why it wasn't such a great lead single. Anyway, love this song. 
• SHAKING BOOTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELL YES. 
• I never understood why they chose El Scortcho as the single. This would have been a much better choice.

• it's absolutely hard to believe that the same band that wrote shitfests like "beverly hills" and "pork and beans" wrote this song. i would say that this is one of the best songs of the 90s.
