• When I found out Nick was out of the band all those years ago i was so upset, as a QOTSA fan (they were my fav band at the time!) I always held a grudge against Josh (especially as that year I Saw QOTSA for the second time ever and Josh had replaced Nick and his bass with a Chick and a Keyboard!!! Nothing against female musicians whatsoever, but this girl defo was not a musician! ) Until earlier this year I read an article explaining that Josh had kicked Nick out because Nick had badly beaten up his Fiancee. Which really is Not cool. And Josh couldn't be mates with Nick after that. It was kept pretty hushed up however. And then I saw Nick on tv in a interview and he didn't really impress me at all. Josh and Nick had a great formula for song composing partnership but, alas, not so good on their own.. like Paul Macca and John Lennon. Great together. But on their own.. you get stuff like Wings.
