What people think about Southern Man:

• for anyone that really gives a shit lynyrd skynyrd asked neil youngs permission to use his name in their song,their was'nt a problem between artist's 
• better to burn out than fade away, Little Bouchet 
• Guitar in this one is quite something else, I think he is a very underrated player, absolutely unique... the more I listen to his stuff, the more amazed I am. So lucky to have been on the planet at the same time as this one. 
• Good track, brings back great memories 
• Skynerd had no class at all, Neil's still rockin' they went down in flames, I hope they realized their mistakes before the crash. 
• Thank goodness the South of this song is not the norm anymore. This song was eye opening to a young Southern girl. I'm glad my generation helped bring in changes needed for so long.

• I Still have my Original LP of this. And I remember buying this on 8 Track.. GOOD TIMES All over again..Everytime I listen to this Album..
