• I think it's about being in a relationship and thinking it's doomed before it has even been given a chance. 'Cut the stomach out and hand it over' is a metaphor for getting rid of any anxiety and 'Butterflies' I guess means butterflies in the stomach. So yeah, it's basically about getting rid of any bad feelings/emotions that are stopping the relationship from working.
